GHS Training
GHS is the next step in the evolution of Hazard Communication. The GHS is the result of an internationally agreed upon effort that was initiated at the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development (you might remember this as the “Earth Summit”).
The internationally harmonized approach provides a foundation for all countries to develop comprehensive national programs to ensure the safe use of chemicals. Here in the US, OSHA has formally adopted the GHS.
